Expanding its footprint in the UK clean energy market, Rimac Energy on Tuesday (March 26) announced that it has opened a new facility for manufacturing next-generation battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Oxfordshire, UK.

The new facility is expected to house Rimac Energy's rapidly growing team in the UK and serve as a hub for technological innovation.

"The UK has always been at the forefront of technological innovation, and we are thrilled to be expanding our footprint here," said Wasim Sarwar Dilov, Director at Rimac Energy. "We're proud to strengthen the Croatia-UK partnership, support the local community, and are excited to be able to tap into the incredible engineering talent pool in the region to help us build a greener future for the planet."

In October last year, Rimac Energy launched SineStack, its first battery storage system designed and manufactured in Europe for the utility and Commercial and Industrial energy storage market.

"It [SineStack] pushes the limit of what grid-tied batteries can offer," the company stated earlier.

Rimac Energy is a division of Rimac Technology (Rimac Group) which is mainly involved in the designing, developing, and manufacturing of advanced stationary BESS solutions focused on the European market. Rimac Technology is headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia.
