Atul Greentech join forces with Honda, Valeo to develop e-vehicles in India

Gujarat-based Indian electric vehicle player Atul Greentech Private Limited (AGPL) has announced that it has joined forces with Honda Power Pack Energy India Private Limited and Valeo to develop electric vehicles along with battery swapping solutions in India.

Atul Greentech is a subsidiary of Atul Auto Limited, which has specialized in three-wheeler autos till now.

The company informed that the plan is to develop a prototype version of both cargo and passenger electric three-wheelers. The company will use the Honda Mobile Power Pack e: Swap which is a swappable battery pack, and a powertrain system from Valeo.

The company said in its filing, "The vehicle with swapping battery will be equipped with Valeo's integrated compact electric powertrain system."
