Switch Mobility inks MoU to deliver 2,500 e- LCVs to MoEVing

Switch Mobility Ltd (SWITCH), the electric vehicle arm of Ashok Leyland on Thursday (April 18) announced that it has delivered five SWITCH IeV4 vehicles to logistics and e-mobility technology player, MoEVing.

In addition to the handing over of five leV4 vehicles, Switch Mobility signed a memorandum of understanding to deliver 2,500 Switch leV4 vehicles to MoEVing.

"We are delighted to partner with Switch Mobility and be the first company to deploy these vehicles in India. IeV4 would help electrify multiple use cases in the urban logistics sector," MoEVing said in a social media post.

Switch Mobility's Switch IeV (intelligent electric vehicle) series comprises electric light commercial vehicles (eLEV) which seek to redefine mid- and last-mile transportation and urban mobility. The company claims the IeV4 can achieve up to 300 kilometers of operation in a single day, with a full charge taking less than 1 hour.
