Triton EV sets up its largest R&D facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Triton EV has announced that it has established its comprehensive Research and Development (R&D) Center facility in Kheda, Anand District near Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

The facility is 1 Lakh 50 Thousand square feet in area and will become the global centre of Triton EV's entire R&D activities which includes Triton EV Trucks, Triton EV Cars, and special purpose vehicles.

Located in Indraprastha Industrial and Warehouse Park, Kheda, Anand, Gujarat which is around 45 minutes from Ahmedabad and is well connected with the national highway- the Mumbai-Ahmedabad- Delhi Highway. The R&D facility location is strategically located near Ahmedabad and Triton's EV Manufacturing Hub, in Bhuj, Gujarat which will ensure faster decision making.

From pathbreaker, Triton EV is emerging as a 'trend setter' for the Indian EV industry and the announcement of Triton's R&D Facility proves to be strong evidence of the company's vision.

Organizations that helped and are helping in setting up Triton EV's R&D facility are Ahmedabad-based, Deep Group of Companies which provided R&D infrastructure. Another company, Ahmedabad-based Service Gallery has worked on facilities management.

CBRE provided all the real estate consultancy services to Triton EV for strategic selection and finalization of the R&D facility.

A few weeks ago, Triton EV has signed a historic MoU with the Gujarat State Government for setting up the world's iconic EV Truck Manufacturing Hub with a minimum investment commitment of Rs 10,800 crore over five years. This acquisition is a major step towards their commitment to producing a complete 'Make In India' Industry's first EV Truck from India.
